Radio PA News
With emphasis on the state capitol and the ability to report on major breaking news across the state, Radio PA provides hourly newscasts from 5:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Radio PA News is also delivered three times every Saturday morning. Each newscast is three minutes in length, including commercial content.
Radio PA Sports
Featuring the state's top pro and collegiate teams, Radio PA sportscasts are provided hourly from 5:05am to 8:05am Monday through Friday. Radio PA Sports is also delivered three times every Saturday morning. Each sportscast is two minutes in length with no commercial content.
Radio PA Newsline
Each Radio PA Newsline is packed with wraps, voicers and sound bites to supplement an affiliate's existing news operation. Newsline is delivered at 5:10am, 10:40am and 3:06pm Monday through Friday and once on Saturday morning.
Radio PA Sportsline
Ideal for stations producing their own sports, Radio PA Sportsline features wraps, voicers and sound bites from players, coaches and teams across the commonwealth. We’ve got the away games covered too! Sportsline is delivered weekdays at 5:35am and 12:30pm and once on Saturday morning.
Ask the Governor
ATG is a regularly scheduled Q & A with Governor Tom Wolf focusing on the most important issues facing state government, Pennsylvania and its citizens. The program is hosted by Radio PA News Director Brad Christman and entertains questions from across the commonwealth.
Radio PA RoundtableRadio PA Roundtable is a 30-minute program featuring in-depth reporting on the top news stories of the week. Professionally produced and delivered every Friday, Roundtable includes commercial breaks for local sale and quarterly reports for affiliate public files.
Outdoors PAOutdoors PA focuses on the state’s wildlife resources and is a favorite of Pennsylvania’s one million hunters. Radio PA has partnered with the Pennsylvania Game Commission to produce programs that are delivered each week in five segments. Each segment is three minutes in length, including commercial content, and provides local sales opportunities for affiliates.
Penn State and Pitt Football PreviewsPenn State and Pitt Football Previews are presented every August prior to the college football season. Creatively produced and loaded with interviews from players and coaches, both previews offer a detailed breakdown of the teams strengths and weaknesses for the upcoming season. Each series consists of seven 3-minute segments, including commercial content, and provides another opportunity for affiliate sales.
Radio PA’s Top 10 News and Sports Stories of the YearRadio PA’s Top 10 is perfect for affiliates looking for creative year-end programming. The programming is delivered every December and consists of ten 1-minute segments for both news and sports, and a one-hour year-end extravaganza. Designed to fit with your New Year's Eve programming or anytime in the closing days of the calendar year, both the 10-part series and the one-hour special can be aired multiple times and are available for local sale.
Radio PA DocumentariesThe "Radio PA Presents..." series provides specials that are presented at various times throughout the year. These 30 to 60-minute programs include several commercial breaks for local advertising. The subject matter can be serious, surprising and suspenseful, but a Pennsylvania angle is always explored in these award-winning programs.
Radio PA’s Election Night CoverageRadio PA's Election Night reports follow all the key gubernatorial, legislative, congressional and row office races in Pennsylvania’s primary and general elections. Updates include reports from candidates' headquarters as the votes are counted. The reports are two minutes in length at the top and bottom of every hour from 9:00pm to midnight, or until the major races are decided.
